“Miller Borne: the Musical Residency of a Native Son”

In collaboration with the Miller Beach Arts and Creative District, Duo Sequenza is developing a composer residency to present the exquisite chamber music of Miller Beach native composer Jerry Owen. The residency will include outreach and educational activities throughout the three-county Lake Michigan South Shore Region in Indiana. The activities will culminate in a formal chamber music concert of Dr. Owen’s works and the World Premiere of a brand new piece written for Duo Sequenza based on the history of the Miller Beach community and honoring its continuing support of the fine arts.  This project is presently available for major funding.
